Privacy Policy for SpeedKeys for Video
SpeedKeys for Video does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data.
The extension stores user settings such as shortcut mappings, playback speed limits, seek intervals, website blacklist and whitelist rules, indicator preferences, language and theme preferences, and custom profiles using Chrome’s built-in storage APIs. These settings remain local to the browser or may sync through Chrome if the user has enabled browser sync.
The extension reads and controls HTML video elements on webpages only to provide playback controls requested by the user, such as changing playback speed, seeking, setting markers, toggling Picture in Picture, toggling fullscreen, and quick hiding the current video tab.
SpeedKeys for Video does not upload browsing history, page content, video content, user activity, or settings to the developer or to any external server.
The extension does not use remote code, analytics, advertising, tracking, or third-party data sharing.
